Hello Franklin Community!
By now you have already received your class assignments in Aspen, and now it is time to sign up to be a 2022-2023 Franklin Room Parent! We will be using sign-up genius this year to secure your spot (link is below). There are two spots per classroom K-5th. When signing up, please include your email address in the comment section.
Emilie Chang (emilie.y.chang@gmail.com) will be our Room Parent Coordinator this year. Please do not email her to sign-up (use the sign-up genius), but let her know if you have any questions. If your classroom is full, please reach out to the room parents and offer to be a point person of support for them. We also will have other opportunities to volunteer throughout the school year. 2022-2023 Room Parent Sign-Up ROOM PARENT ROLES INCLUDE: * Connecting with the classroom teacher(s) and inquiring what support he/she would like from the room parents * Collecting a voluntary classroom fund from the class * Purchasing items from the teacher's wish list with the classroom fund around winter break * Helping to support and get volunteers for the whole school teacher appreciation week activities * Purchasing end of year teacher gifts from the classroom fund * Attending a few evening room parent meetings (before the PTO meetings) to discuss, learn, and receive support about the above tasks.
