Hello Franklin!
We are looking for several volunteers to be on this year's Franklin Auction Committee! This is an online auction held in March 2022, and it's one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. The committee will work as a team to reach out to local businesses and the Franklin community for donations starting in January 2022, receive/organize donations, enter item information on our auction website, manage the distribution of the items after the auction closes, and also figure out what items will be saved for our live auction / trivia event at Post 440 which is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, April 9, 2022.
It's a really fun process, especially if we have a lot of hands to help out! :)
Some committee members from last year can do a knowledge transfer session so you'll know exactly what needs to be done, and we'll schedule that meeting sometime later this month. PTO board members with auction experience will also be on hand throughout the process in case you run into any questions!
